No Controlled Substances Allowed

Many people see information and websites that talk about ordering certain medications online for less. Typically, the websites that are promoted are not Canadian RX services that are legitimate if they offer Zoloft, Ritalin, Oxycontin, Xanax, or similar medications. If a medication is on the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) list of controlled substances, pharmacies cannot sell it online and those that do cannot sell it internationally. Because of the increase of drug addictions related to prescription medications, the DEA has been constantly monitoring the medication world and making revisions to the controlled substances list since the Act went into effect back in the 1970s.

Controlled substances might be available online in some situations, but that does not mean that it’s okay to buy them. People are often confused by the websites that are available because they make it seem like they are reputable authorities and that it’s okay to purchase these medications. The truth is that legitimate Canadian RX services and other international pharmacy services won’t even offer these medications.

Part of controlling chemical dependency starts by getting people cut off from their sources for obtaining the medications that they need. Many emergency rooms and urgent care centers have stopped giving narcotics to patients unless absolutely necessary because of drug seekers. The online pharmacy world is the same. People who actually need something that is listed as a controlled substance will have to visit their doctor under DEA-compliant conditions and get a prescription filled at a registered U.S. pharmacy. While that makes getting medications harder for those who need them, it also makes online Canadian RX services safer for the general population.
